Well guys, lounge keeps getting closer and closer to is glory days as a punk-o-matic label, as we have gotten 8 great new albums for you to check out!

First off, we have the release of Drac Alucard, one of pom's most historic artists. has come out with his first album, called Rising Dead. He has originally been seen before on Saiga's Last in Line" album (along with Dkoopa) and on lounge's very own Game Over, which was a pom 1 finale album featuring drac, blackstatic, and Saiga (which can be found in the 2010 area of the lounge under saiga)

The second album we have for you is actually a single by Bobby the Turtle. Bobby, if you remember, has came out with his very first pom album earlier this month, and returns again with Embryonic. be sure to check this one out.

Next we got the TRUE finale of the Lounge's Greatest artist, j2456h. j2456h is known to be synonymous with the lounge as he has released 7.... yes count em... 7 albums previously to the lounge. Bringing the best together, he made Where Ancient Souls Wander. Throughout his album though, he also has 7 new songs, so its quite the treat for those new to j2456h. When will we see him again? nobody knows...

Next up we have Lost And Forgotten, one of the great pom artists that has been... well lost and forgotten. he has come out with a more moving album called The Final Anthem and its something that anybody who loves pom music i suggest check out.

The 5th new album is by 101, called Before it Ends (Emotion & Commotion). This is the first album from the pom staff member, and its quite a treat. It features artists such as TraceofHatred, Spiker, and Plug and play. This album is an amazing one, and of course worth a look.

The 6th album was major surprise to me, as it was uploaded by a different staff member. I came on the website one day to find that Suicide by Spoon was back and had released a 7 song EP. Suicide by Spoon is Trace of Hatred's band, and each of the seven songs has a story behind them. Be sure to check out Broken Bonds and Worn out Songs, it is quite a treat in my mind.

And now we come to the final two albums, which are both made by polop39, are actually connected together, as it talks about the happiness of a childhood, and the changes as an adult. These albums are also all non-pom music, and are really a treat. Be sure to check out Plea of the Past, and A Hope for the Future at the lounge!

all together, these albums puts the lounge up to 59, and gives us a grand total of 15 new albums for the month of June, a great accomplishment. I want to thank everybody who created albums for this month a thank you, and i hope to see some more from you soon.

50 albums reached!!!

Well guys we have done it. Not even 2 hours after I posted the news about reopening, YourHeroTheEpic walks in and gives us "Devastation", his second album (originally Punk-O-Maddict, he released "Fire In The Valley" to us). When he posted this album, he got the honors of being the 50th album to ever be released to Lounge Records, a feat that I have been waiting to acquire for quite some time. Now with this, that means major work to the Loungies (our records award ceremony.) This will be set up by me, and former lounge employee AgentOhoolahan, so be sure to check that out soon.

Also releasing an album here to the lounge after the actual opening ceremony is TraceofHatred with his album called "The Horror of Symmetry", becoming the 51st album to be released to lounge records overall. His album is likely the finale of the crossover series, where artists released both of their albums to us and Cookies and Biscuits Records, but nonetheless it is an amazing album worth listening to everyday.

Lastly I would like to just mention something that my good friend Bishop Butters has begun due with the rebirth of the lounge. If you go to... lets say Dangerous Mac's album, you will find Butters saying "I'm Butters and I approve this album" this means that bishop has approved the album (kinda obvious). so far 3 lounge albums have won this approval: poepoe29's "Darkness Falls", DangerousMac's "Storybook Tragedy" and YourHeroTheEpic's "Devastation." if you are interested in seeing if your album is worthy of Bishop's approval, get the link for your album and go to http://www.punk-o-matic.net/smf/index.php?topic=3294.0 to see if your album is worthy.

OPENING DAY!!!!

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I am glad to welome all of you to the reopening of Lounge Records, formally known as Lounge Act Records. It has been a long process, but we are finally back again!. Joining me and BloodxRedxShoes_ for running the staff are TraceofHatred, YourHeroTheEpic, 101, and BigRob8917. Right now our video section is still being worked on, so it will not be open today, but expect to see it open very soon...

For the Reopening we have 5 great albums for ya. First off we have j2456h's final album "Sernades of Menancholia". Also coming back is DangerousMac with his second album called "Storybook Tragedy". We have also two new members joining the lounge family, s0m3th!ngn3w with "Carry On Carrion" and BobbyTheTurtle456 with Inked. The last album is the Final Hero of War album called "Darkness Falls".

I am very glad that we have reopened and I hope that all of these albums will be a sign of great things to come. Lounge Records, at 49 albums, and counting once again.
